UEA membership is voluntary and open to organisations and individuals committed to Ukraine’s energy reconstruction. The Alliance operates across three tiers, each with distinct roles and responsibilities.

Who it's for
Founding and lead partners with strategic responsibility
Role
Governance, direction-setting, and accountability
Active Members
Who it's for
Organisations and individuals with a voting stake
Role
Participate in convenings, vote on Alliance matters, contribute within work directions
Affiliated Members
Who it's for
Supporters, observers, aligned organisations
Role
Engage with the network without voting rights
How membership works
- Membership is confirmed by the Secretariat following review of your application.
- There is no financial obligation to join.
- Members may withdraw at any time with 30 days’ written notice.
What members commit
- Contributing expertise and/or capacity within their work direction(s)
- Participating in good faith in Alliance activities and governance
- Upholding UEA’s values and governing principles
- Confirming no ties to sanctioned Russian fossil-fuel interests
What the Secretariat Provides
- Coordination, governance support, and monitoring, evaluation & learning (MEL)
- Access to the UEA member network
- Strategic communications and public positioning
- Sub-granting administration where applicable
